Hi all,
I just received a negative feedback and the buyer stated in the comments "no reply to comms". I checked all my messages and found no messages in my inbox from this buyer.
So I rang ebay and I've just got off the phone with ebay now and they can see that the buyer messaged me on their end but the message is not coming through to my inbox. It's definitely a site issue, which the call agent refused the accept!
Is anyone else experiencing this? It's not fair on us sellers to receive negative feedback as a result of eBay's own site errors if you ask me...
Just so unfair on me as I never received this message and I've now received a negative feedback due ebay's own website not working!
Will be interesting to see if anyone else is experiencing this same issue of sending and receiving messages on eBay.

You are in the UK, as are many of the other posters........who posted in 2021........ This is the US board......probably get better answers if you post on the UK board......

Several people ask me questions. I reply to all of them. I ask to let me know if they are getting my replies. I get no acknowledgements from them. It seems my replies are NOT being sent to the people who "ask seller a question". I find it hard to believe a few dozen people on ONE eBay motors listing are not getting my replies to their questions. Some come back asking the same question. I answer again, and ask them to let me know if they are getting my answer. But then never do. I am thinking ebay's messaging service is out of order.

Instead of dredging up a two year old post, it’s better to start your own thread. Tell us what communications you have had with the buyer.
What you have done to make the customer happy.
Did you send it in the condition they describe in their feedback.
Did you provide the return shipping label.
Is it possible your buyer meant to leave those comments for another seller?
Or are you more interested in nailing eBay to the wall because you were lied to about this being a new issue.
When calling the outsourced CS reps, lower your expectations of what they can do for you. They are famous for saying anything they think you want to hear.
Cold calling eBay is the absolute worst way to get any real help.
While you wait for tomorrow, why not reach out to the buyer and see what they want to make this better.
I would probably just refund his money and concentrate on enjoying the last bit of summer.
