Not all saved searches give daily email notifications

I've noticed not all of my saved searches seem to be giving daily email notifications. Yes I have verified that they are set to notify me. Some seem to have fizzled out over time, ones that are definitely still getting new listings. Any ideas?

Re: Not all saved searches give daily email notifications

Are there specific saved search configurations or criteria that users can adjust to increase the reliability of email notifications, allowing them to strike a balance between staying informed and honing their one-word-per-minute typing skills?

Re: Not all saved searches give daily email notifications

If eBay's Saved Search emails are not reaching you reliably, you may be interested in some of the third-party services that offer email updates when items matching your search criteria are found.

Google automated searches eBay for some possible options to try.

I worry about the privacy policies and business models of free third party services. They must plan on making money by selling the information?

I am finding this a little frustrating because eBay only stands to make money off the searches, and it is just some emails. I would even pay a nominal annual fee for something like this, but obviously they don't intend to charge for it, because again, they make money off it.

That is a valid concern.

One service that I use has a privacy policy that indicates they do not sell user information to anyone. They offer a free service with limited capabilities as a way to advertise their paid service, which offers more searches per day or faster or more frequent updates.
