New message system missing customers order number and link to order

Ok so the new message sytem seems mandatory today, which is fine but it needs a major fix.

We need ebay to show our customers order number and a link to their order in customers messages on new ststem, its very important, otherwise we have to search customers ebay id and they may have multiple orders.

How can we help customers when when we do not know which order they are referring to?

Ezbay please fix this ASAP.

i 100% agree with him, this is not normal , why ebay would remove the most important information 

customer contacting us with questions abount thire order , we  need the order number in the customer reply that we can provide a fast and accurate reply , this is a MUST FIX , i really do not undersnad ebay 

i am sure many ebay sellers comment about this when it was not mandatory

I don't EVER remember EVER seeing an 'order number' in a message (and how would an order number help anyway??)

I would ALWAYS have to look at their id and then find their order- for over a decade with 100's of messages received.
