The latter is what should be happening. I offer FREE SHIPPING on all of my items yet when I do a search for them, they're showing up with the Buy It Now Price followed by $20 shipping.

I agree. But, most of my buyers are in the United States and if they're seeing that when browsing...whoa!!!

I went back and forth with eBay for nearly an hour trying to figure out what was happening. Never did get it fixed. Days later...yesterday...I ended all of my items and newly listed some things. Wiped out my existing business policies and created a new one for Calculated Shipping. Everything looked fine and was showing correct costs in search results.
I wake up today and all of my listings are showing...Shipping Not Specified.
What is going on??????????
When you wiped out business policies, it wiped out any shipping you had.
Since you only have 7 items and all items are the same, bulk edit and 'choose' a shipping type (USPS, Ground Advantage for example)....

I ended all of my listings first. Then I wiped out the business policies.
Created 2 new shipping policies for Calculated Shipping (one for items less than 8 ounces and one for items over 8 ounces) and from scratch...created the 7 new items and assigned the appropriate shipping policy to all. And they worked perfectly yesterday. Showing calculated shipping costs in the search returns screen AND the listings themselves when clicked on. Prices were accurate and working fine!
Until I woke up this morning. Now only the listings, when clicked on, show a shipping cost.
However, items on the search returns page shows shipping not specified. I really thought that wiping everything out and starting over from scratch would do the trick. Apparently not.
eBay was never able to figure out why my other items were defaulting to show International shipping costs in search return screens. So, I killed everything and started over. It was fine 24 hours ago. I really don't know what to say now. Something is wrong on their end.
