My eBay Account Was Doing Well — Plugin/Promotion Caused UK Region Switch & Killed Sales

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help or insight from the community.

I’ve been selling successfully on eBay.com (US site) for a while. Then one day, I received an advertisement or promotion from eBay suggesting I use a certain plugin or listing feature — I believe it was meant to increase visibility or promote listings. I enabled it, thinking it would help sales.

After that, my account suddenly started showing listings in the UK (eBay.co.uk), and I believe it became dual-region (US and UK). Ever since this happened:

  • My sales have dropped significantly — almost completely.

  • My listings seem to be treated as if I’m a UK seller, or are showing to the wrong audience.

  • I suspect it’s affecting my visibility, pricing, and shipping expectations.

  • When I try to disable or reverse the plugin/feature, I either can’t find the option, or it says “not available in your region”.

I’ve checked:

  • Site Preferences

  • Account Settings

  • Third-Party App Access

  • Business Policies

But I can’t seem to find the right setting to undo the UK exposure or go back to a US-only eBay.com account setup.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a way to:

  1. Fully remove or disable the plugin/feature that caused this

  2. Revert to selling ONLY on eBay.com (US site) again
