My account addresses are in Ireland but I keep getting emails in German

Hey there.

I recall that this account was  registered many years ago when I lived in Germany. Nowadays I live in Ireland and have changed the registered address and shipping address of the account to an Irish address.

For some reason ebay insists on sending out emails (such as shipping notifications) in German, and it also won't let me change payment methods and says "Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information, please go to Payments on the DE site."

Is there anything else I can do to convince ebay to no longer associate this account with Germany?

@howardguo, yes, it is possible to change your site of registration.

The first step is to change your registered address to an address in the country where you want to be registered, so you have completed that already.

Then, you need to log on to the website where you want to be registered, which would be www.ebay.ie for eBay Ireland. Go to Help & Contact there, and select the topic you need help with. Something to do with a buying account should work. Keep choosing topics until you get to the end of the choices, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for your contact options. You will probably need to use "Ask us to call you" so make sure your phone number is correct so they can call you back.

Ask the CS rep to change your site of registration to eBay Ireland. This is the only  way to get this done.

Have the same issue (.de -> .co.uk) and just spoke to two different CS reps and both said it's not possible to change the registration site. They said the only option is to open a new account on the right site, which of course is a problem given that you would start from scratch with ratings. You'd also need a different email address. Am I missing something? It sounded like changing the site was never an option.

Changing the site registration was possible in the past. But if you are a seller on managed payments, that appears to no longer be an option.
