Mouse Over Zoom feature not working on new listings

Does anyone know if this was taken away as a free feature for new listings? My old ones still have it but anything I list today the zoom feature or the click for picture enlargement does not work...Ebay?? any answers? by the way its not my camera or pixel size...I see others having same issue..just wanting to know if the feature is no longer available? thanks

Its not the browser, I use IE, also tried it with firefox...same issue-not working, also tried listing with my cellphone using the ebay app, still doesn't zoom when clicked on or moused over...guess they took that feature away with the new "upgrades" this month...since Ebay isn't addressing it.

Same problem as everyone else, old current listings are fine but the new listings will not zoom. Hopefully it was because of the weekly Thursday night system updates/tweeks eBay does, otherwise I will pull down the new listings that are scheduled. No good without zoom.

Maybe trinton@ebay or heidi@ebay  will see this and respond. Keeping fingers crossed.

I have same issue with zoom- current listings have it, but since I got moved into new system yesterday, new listings are not zooming:/

Same here when Uploading new pictures to revise a listing. The new picture is incorrectly sized by Ebay, and the zoom no longer works.  Customers cannot see the details in the picture.

I just got off the phone with eBay customer service who put me in contact with the listings department. The rep walked through my listings and confirmed that the current live (older than 2 days) listings had the working zoom feature and the newly scheduled listings would not zoom with the "mouse over".

He is sending a ticket over to the tech department. I asked if he had any knowledge of this problem or any previous reportings of it and he said he did not. I referred him to this topic and that many others are experiencing the same problem.

Hopefully it gets resolved, maybe others can call in and report the problem. I luckily had  the "call me" option, so I don't know the wait time to call them.

Thank you roadking5555 ,  I did not call them because just on the right side column of this forum there is a blurb about the board, where it says Ebay techs monitor the troubles reported here, so duh,, guess I assumed too much.

Good luck, I was on the phone with them yesterday and yet to hear back. The issue still has not been solved. I have even tired all 4 browsers (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera) to see what others were talking about and it's the same issue all across.

Thank your calling eBay about the concern on the new listed that photo is not zoom out (magnify).

Due to the changes on our listing format, there are changes as well for the qualification.

For the zoom (magnify) / enlarge feature to be activated, the following image criteria must be met: ◦ Setid needs to be supersize (880000500F) in the code.

◦ Photo Display Type needs to be Picture Pack or supersize.

◦ Image dimensions need to be 800-1600px in length.

◦ Pictures uploaded to eBay picture hosting are optimized for buyers viewing listings on mobile devices.

I hope I've explained everything clearly and wish you success on eBay in the future.

Same problem - all my new listings have shrunken photos.  I upload large pictures ebay's system shrinks them down to 500 mp...they're all too small for the zoom feature.  I created several brand new listings yesterday, every single one has the shrunken photo issue.  I tried again today, listed a new item - same issue.  I tried revising my listings by deleting the photos and resubmitting them,  this DID NOT fix the problem.   EBAY NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE ASAP.  As others have mentioned, I'm hesitant to create anymore listings until this is resolved... nobody likes tiny photos when shopping online

Well I guess I'll chime in here and say I posted three new listings on 08/24/17 and none of them would enlarge the pics.  I re-newed a listing that had been on for 30 days at the same time and it enlarges perfectly.  Very strange.

I believe I will remove the new listings until they get this resolved.  I'm glad it is an ebay problem though.  I called my IT guy last night to discuss what could be causing it and he was thinking of the browser and other potential problems that could cause this.  I called back and told him it was an ebay problem.  He said ebay has LOTS of problemks.

Same Issue. Tried different cameras and no help. I spoke to ebay and they said they are working on it on their end.
