me also, same deal, i posted new topic on the issue cause I couldn't find this thread til after I posted, but it started last night, I did everything like signed out, signed back in, closed brouser, tried to use Microsoft Edge instead, rebooted PC, cleared cookies... nothing worked, pretty sure it's not on my side at this point. But same thing, hit reply and the page goes blank and doesn't load.

I wasn't aware there were so many others posting in here about not being able to reply to messages as well (I was posting in the other thread by nuclearomen). Count me as another one getting the blank page whether I open it in Firefox or Chrome, on my Windows laptop or Android phone - eBay, please help us!

I have had very very iffy ability to get messages to sellers for over a year. The messages appear to send but they do not show up in “my ebay”, nor do cc’s show in my email (IF I was able to check the “send a copy to my email”, not always available). It’s a good bet that the seller I am writing to does not get the message, either.
The worst part is I do not know. Also, where I do not hear from a seller, did they try to write back?
An aside: why are some sellers allowed to post phone #s, web sites, and business names & locations, whereas others cannot, and in fact emails are monitored for same? Maybe it’s auctions vs ads? A lot of what I look at (construction related equipment and vehicles) is advertising, not actual auction.

I have had success with the following method. First, create your message in Notepad or similar. Then cut and paste this into the message box. It will still appear to be blank. But if you mouse over and highlight your text, then send it, it will successfully be delivered. I hope this helps. Val in Portugal.

I've been having this problem since November, and I've called Ebay twice about it. So far nothing. Messages aren't even coming to my e-mail anymore, so I see that there are message notifications, but I have no idea from whom or the content. This is a real problem as a seller! Why can't Ebay fix this?

Hi there Trenton - this has been an issue for me for a week - I was wondering why the seller was not responding to me as I received a less than desirable product. Please can you let me know if there is an issue again??
Thanks,
Erin

Same problem here, too. Contacted a seller via eBay, asking when he would send a recent purchase. Checked the “send me a copy” box, but never received a copy of the message. My inbox at eBay also had at least a dozen messages that never reached my personal email.
Just got off the phone with an eBay telephone customer service rep. “Shara” was clearly irritated that I questioned if eBay’s message system was working or why eBay was selectively holding back messages from subscribers, since I could not see evidence that anything I entered was sent to the seller, yet I’. She said that eBay is aware of the problem and is “working on it.” Don’t hold your breath waiting.
Irritable eBay customer service reps interrupting and lecturing customers on the telephone, while eBay’s system is impaired, is very rude. They used to be much better.
