Calling Merchant support, over the last 3 months, the overall average wait time has been 30-40 mintues, with several of those calls being ob hold for well over 1 hour listeninig to the same repetive abusive music.
I have been hearing the "narrative" that people are in training. Ok, I can understand that, but each time I have asked when they will be "working", to reduce the excessive wait times, the story keep changing. I kept hearing a week, 1-2 weeks, They are finishing up now, and the lastest, from 4-5 days ago, was the end of this month.
I was told it was 3 months of training. After that much training you would think it would be reasonable that when you call you actually get accurate information rather then an off the cuff guess. It uis getting very very old to wait on hold for 45 minutes the get answers that do not work.
It is either the call que is being monitored and callers are being skipped and left on hold, or eBay is so badly busted they cannot keep up with the call volume.
When will this be resolved this absurd wait time be resolved?
Posting this here, I think this is an area that is used to allow us to think what we say is actually read and anybody at ebay will actually do anything to address what is destroying many sellers. An area we can't vent and complain about the crippling inability of ebay to fix things, and be ignored,
