Hi,
i am trying to sell items on ebay. I have been a buyers for over 2 years and i really like ebay. The issue that i am facing is that although i am based as a UK buyer, ebay identifies me as a US seller! I dont know how did this actually happen! I cant remember if i ever tried to sell anything before. The problem is that i cannot verify my mobile number because it's a UK one and it keeps saying invalid number. Can you please assist me?
Thank you in advance!

You are currently registered in the UK.
Are you trying to sell on the US site ebay.com? You are asking on the US community boards. There apparently are some links in the UK community pages that may erroneously send you to the US site, so it may not be your fault that you wound up here.
If you are trying to sell on ebay.co.uk, then sign out of ebay.com and sign in to ebay.co.uk instead.

Thanks for your reply. The this is that i always login to the .co.uk and after a few clicks i get redirected to the .com site. It was never an issue for me as a buyer so far (i didnt notice any trouble), but now as a seller i cant sell

Try signing out of ebay.com and deleting all the ebay.com cookies from your browser. If you are using any bookmarks, make sure that they are pointing to ebay.co.uk and not ebay.com instead.
If you are not signed in to ebay.com, and you are redirected to the US site to do any account related activities, you should immediately see the US sign in page.

I even tried with different browsers and they all do they same thing! They redirect me to the US .com site! Especially when i'm ready to list my item and click "list". On a new browser when i click list, it goes to the US site and asks me to login again!!

No idea why a UK user listing an item on ebay.co.uk from inside the UK would get redirected to the US site. Do you have a US shipping address listed as your primary address?
Are there any similar complaints posted on the UK Community boards?
If not, you may have to bite the bullet and call the eBay UK number and ask for help.

Sign off of the eBay.com (US) site, Sign back on to the eBay UK site (https://www.ebay.co.uk/).
Use the Contact Us link on that page. Ask them to move your account registration to the UK site. Note you may have to verify your personal information for that site. You should be able to do that in the same call.
