I have been listing hundreds of items this year with no issue. Today when trying to post several items, the main listing photo is showing up skewed (not rotated) or slanted, not sure how to attach an image of this for example. Any ideas on what can be done to correct this?

I'm having the same issue. It started for me this afternoon. The pics are uploading slanted and distorted. Hopefully Ebay gets this issue resolved soon.

This is what I'm seeing on my screen after uploading my images.

I usually use Safari when listing items on Ebay but this morning decided to download and try using Google Chrome.
My photos uploaded just fine using Chrome. So if you are having the same issue as I was, try using a different browser. It might help with your situation as well.

Thanks, will definitely try Chrome today, and mine are looking the exact same as yours and was a new issue completely.

Well tried Chrome and the problem is persisting for me, not sure what else to try at this point. Bummed as I have a lot of items to get listed.

I tested Safari this morning and it's still having the same photo issue. Chrome is still working fine for me. Wish Ebay would get this resolved so I can go back to using Safari for everything. Switching back and forth is a pain.

Today I downloaded and installed Mac OS 14.1.1 Sonoma to see if it would remedy the issue. It did not. I'm still having the same problem with some of my photos uploading slanted and distorted.

I tested it with Safari again and it's still not working right. Nothing has been fixed yet.

I’m having the same issue. Doesn’t matter if I use my laptop or iPhone. I’m getting frustrated because I need to list items, and I refuse to download Chrome on my MacBook.

Are you using a Mac, and HEIC format?
If so, and some of your images appear distorted, see here:

I've been continuing to have this issue since the initial post. I switched to JPG and found it still can glitch pretty regularly. Just trying to list as much as possible and be done with this.

I've been having this same issue for a month or so, exclusively on Safari/Macbook (no problems on Chrome/Macbook). I prefer Safari over Chrome, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to matter what format the pictures are in; I can't get them to upload correctly.
However, the drag and drop suggested DOES work for me on Safari, so thanks for linking that post!

Hey @cobra_viper! Thank you for reporting this. There is an issue when uploading photos via the latest version of Safari 17.x. We are looking into this, the workaround at this time is to use the drag and drop option to get the photos on the listing.

Thanks for the heads up, but that really isn't a solution because then I have to take the photos out of iPhoto...put them on my desktop and then pull from that onto the Ebay listing. It's a lot more work when I can still upload them via Chrome without any issue.
