Hello,
I've written to you about this many times over the last few months and nothing has been done about it so once again I am writing to tell you that the Ebay listing page keeps changing my location from Ely to somewhere in Cambridge. If I change it back to Ely and then list it's fine but as soon as I list another item it's been changed back to Cambridge. It's very, very irritating and I like you to FIX IT!!!!!

Have you updated all of the Address fields in your Account Settings?

Hey @roger5732 ! This is a peer forum, not eBay customer service. When you say the location is changed back, do you mean it's changed on the same listing or on new listings?
Try this: update the location on your listings by going to your active listings page in seller hub, select all listings, click the edit button in the menu above your listings. From there you can use the bulk editor to change the ship from zip code on all of your listings.
Keep in mind if you relist or sell similar from an old listing that had your old zip code, you will have to manually adjust those as you list. Same goes for stored templates - those will need to be updated.
Location on your listings is separate from the addresses on your account settings and separate from the ship from address on your shipping labels, so if you need help with those areas just let us know.

Here is the link to the page given to you in the first response in case you can't find it:

Great info if OP has moved and they may need to update their addresses in the numerous fields on that page.
For clarification: that settings page has no bearing on the location in listings. Remember you can live/office in one place but warehouse your items in another, and you can have different locations on different listings. Location is set at the listing level. System is intentionally designed to accommodate different types of sellers. 🙂

Hello wastingtime 101,
Yes, I realised that after I had posted the message. I clicked on a link from Ebay thinking it was Ebay technical support! Silly of me to think they would ever be that helpful!! The change of location happens once I've listed and item and then list another item. On that listing page the location has been changed and even if I change it back it will revert to the wrong location with the next listing. I'll try that fix but I reckon it's an Ebay problem not my listings. I don't use shipping labels. Thanks for the tip.

eBay's defaulting to what you previously used. By following the steps I posted above that should fix it. If you continue to have difficulties come back and let us know. We can usually help with this stuff.

for info, OP is in the UK and there may be something going on that site, that isn't happening in the US
