The listing tool is suddenly not working properly with Firefox (I'm on a Mac). I've tried another browser (Brave) and it seems okay there but it's a hassle to keep switching. If I unclick the show HTML checkbox, it doesn't work. The preview will not update after I add new copy, etc. Irritating and time consuming.

Are you able to list using Firefox in a private browser window? If so, try clearing your Firefox cache and manually deleting just your eBay cookies.

Same problem here! I've tried deleting cache and cookies, updating, disabling all add-ons, and it makes no difference. Chrome works fine, but that's a more time consuming workaround.

Same here.
I'm on a Mac laptop with updated OS and Firefox, and the listing tool won't allow me to insert my description written in the simplest of HTML (with Show HTML) box checked.
The description doesn't show up in Preview, or if I schedule the listing and click to see it. I'll have to cancel the scheduled listing.
Does eBay ever monitor this board, or will I have to post on the Seller board if the glitch is still around tomorrow morning?
I truly hate having to switch to Chrome or Explorer, so I'll just not list tonight.

Same here @atticpaper @tealt @moremagazines using Firefox on Mac.
Good news: using Safari is not producing the error. Use a diff browser until this is fixed.
I can toggle HTML on, but cannot toggle back to the regular rich text view. Any changes made on the HTML tab are not publishing.
Sometimes hitting the publish button does not work. Other times it works, but takes me to the confirmation page for the simple listing tool instead of the biz listing tool (I use biz tool). Other times it works to hit publish, but again, changes made in HTML view are not saving.
I have not yet tested to see if I can adjust HTML through bulk edit.
If you need to make edits you can do it on the regular rich text view, but currently not with the HTML view using Firefox on Mac.
Click the ? icon on the lower right of the screen to file a tech report. The more users reporting, the higher priority it will go up eBay's fix list.

My Mac uses Safari....which I have never had a problem with.
And having the buyer's insurance with any problems I just call them and they help me through the fix.
And I can always go down to an Apple Store and they will help me for me without needing the insurance.

Well, this is interesting. I have been in conversation with ebay support for the better part of
two weeks trying to figure this out. This just started happening with me around May 21. I use (used) Firefox
to do my listings and experience the same problem you are. I switched to Chrome to do my listings
but would really like if they could figure this out so I could go back to FF. I know it's not a FF issue as
I tried loading an older version of FF with the same results.

We are having the same issue and it is not cache as it will continue in private browsing.
Use Chrome is not a resolution.

Having same issue in Firefox, always use private browsing.
Only way the description will stay, is if I copy and paste in
my description, then remove the html code and breaks,
just leaving the text.
Not clicking the html button at all, is less frustrating.

We consider this a major issue and it is not listed as a know issue.
How do you get things worked on around here?

Hey kyle@ebay. These problems exclusive to Firefox - can you see if there's a sitewide ticket sellers can reference when reporting the problem?
This is a significant issue causing major problems for sellers (myself included).
Hey @wastingtime101 there is not a sitewide ticket open as of yet, but we'll keep a close eye out for one, and keep you posted!

I sent a broken page link to firefox hoping they could fix it.
This has been going on since 5/27 and I have sent many
complaints to eBay since with no fix.
Sick of eBay rolling out new pages without testing first
in ALL browsers.
