Items stuck in 'Watch List' only when i am viewing my 'All items in your lists'

Starting yesterday, there's been a handful of items that have ended that i am unable to delete from the 'All items in your lists' list and it shows them in the 'Watch List'  even though they are not in the watch list. 

It's 100% a glitch and i like to use the 'All items in your lists' page more than individual lists because i have so many different things added to my lists that one list isn't enough and it's annoying when some get stuck and i cannot delete them.  It says that it deleted them but they aren't deleted.  I have tried different browsers also.

I just tried adding an item to several of my lists including the Watch List and then deleting it from all the lists using the "All Lists" page. The item still appears on the "All Lists" page after deleting.

According to that page, the item is still on my Watch List.

Opening the item page shows the familiar blue band with a note indicating that the item is on my Watch List. Using the "Remove" link there eliminates the blue band but the item still appears on my "All Lists" link, even after a hard refresh, or signing out and signing back in.

Oddly, the item no longer appears on the Watch List itself, or the Summary page, or on the Watch List on the eBay app. Though it does still appear on the "All Buying" list.

The problem does not seem to happen with all items, as I have been able to delete many items from my "All Lists" page; but some items stubbornly remain.

Exactly the same issue i am having.  This has only started happening yesterday.  I have been using 'All Lists' for a long time.

I think I have found a cumbersome yet effective way to remove a stuck "Watch List" item from the "All Lists" page. At least it seemed to work with the item I was having trouble with.

See if the item appears on the All Buying page:

If the item does not appear, go to the item page and add the item to your Watch List again.

Once the item is found on the "All Buying" page (you may need to refresh the page), check the box to the left of the item row and use the "delete" button at the top of that page.

Go back to your "All Lists" page and refresh it to verify that the total number of items has decreased by one and the item no longer appears there.

For the time being, I would suggest avoiding the "delete item" link on the "All Lists" page to delete Watch List items. In the past that was my most effective way to delete items that could not otherwise be deleted, but it may cause more problems that it solves at this point.

I am having the same issue as of Tuesday in the old All Lists as well. They will not delete. I was able to go to the new version and delete ten items. Strange though, I cannot get anymore to delete using either version of the lists.

I've tried for days to delete items from my watch list. They cannot be removed from my desktop but are gone on my android phone.

If you are actually having problems with the Watch List page itself, try deleting items from your Summary page or from the individual item page itself, and see if that works better for you.

Some users are having problems with functions not working on eBay -- in some cases, temporarily disabling ad blocking seems to help, apparently. Not sure if deleting items is one of those problems, but it might be worth a shot.

I have previously encountered problems deleting multiple items from the Watch List when watching more than 200 items -- if possible, try to get your watch list below that number by moving items to other lists or deleting individual items to see if it works more consistently for you.

What am I missing - I don't have a page called All Buying?? I'm not using the app, I'm going through ebay.com, so is that the difference?

I've added everything I could back to the Watchlist [by opening each, individual item], but the All List and Watchlist pages are still out of sync by 3 ended items I can't do anything with.

Is there no way to alert eBay to this obvious technical issue? So many people rely exclusively on their All Lists page that surely they would correct the glitch if only they knew about it.

There is a link to the "All Buying" page in the second message in this thread. It is the second of the two links.

eBay has removed links to the "All Lists" page, so even if some folks are relying on it (and it is my eBay landing page, so I would be one of those folks), I doubt maintaining that page is a high priority for eBay. If it were, eBay would have removed the links to the defunct "Collections" on that page long ago.

You can give eBay a call if you think it will help. Or mention the problem during one of the weekly chats.

If eBay is in no hurry to fix the massive problems with the Bids & Offers page that prevent many users from seeing items they have actually bid on, I doubt that eBay will move quickly to fix an old page they no longer provide links for that will not allow users to delete old items.

I see your point. I'm certain I have no clue how massive an undertaking it is to administer a system such as theirs.

I feel stupid now: I saw & tried the first link in that message, but not the second. Of course, it took me straight to this hitherto unknown "All Buying" page, so thanks for that one. (I noticed something about eBay Beta in the url - is that why there is no direct access for me to this page?? Without having to navigate back to your link or giving up All Lists as my landing page, is there any way I can find this All Buying page again?)

I finally have my All Lists page synced up with my Watchlist page by following your 'fix' using the All Buying page, so THANK YOU @eburtonlab!! Here's hoping the glitch is gone for good.

You are very welcome. No need to feel stupid in the slightest -- far from it.  There are many old pages that eBay no longer has links to that still seem to work (for the most part). I have a personal collection of such links bookmarked, and when a current page stops working, sometimes the older link still works. In some cases, like the old "All Lists" page, the old page does things that no newer pages do.

I would suggest bookmarking that "All Buying" page for future use. That page can also act as a replacement for the current Bids & Offers page when items with bids do not appear on the newer page.

Many old pages have that "beta" notation in the page URL -- the "All Lists" page is one of those as well; at one point that was how eBay designated a series of pages, possibly intending to update the names later. Some of those pages are still in use and linked on eBay, such as the eBay Bucks transactions page.

if i copy and paste your link instead of clicking on it. It takes me to 'My eBay' page and besides bids/offers  ebay bucks on left side and all those other things  the rest of the page is blank
