Why can't I get the gallery view when I type in an item title on eBay using Chrome?

When I type an item title into the eBay search bar using Chrome, I can only get the List View even though it is set on Gallery View.  I will see the Gallery View for about one or two seconds and then it goes back into the List View. When I use another browser such as Safari, I can get both the List View and the Gallery View.  How can this be fixed? I should be able to get both Views when when I use Chrome. When I call eBay and they are in my account they can see both Views on my account so it is hard for them to see what I am talking about. Any suggestions. I don't want to have to use another browser if I don't have to.

Using Chrome, from your search results, use the Customize menu option that you can select in the upper right where you select between List or Gallery view, and see what view is set as your default view option.

If necessary, change your settings and use the "Apply changes" button. Then try searching again to see if the new settings stick.
