Items keep disappearing from watch list

I've noticed the last few days that items keep disappearing from my main watch list. This is happening in both of my accounts. It has been anywhere from 4 to 8 items at a time just disappearing. I have lots of items saved in my watch list in both accounts and so I was only able to remember a few missing items. I looked them up and added them back to my watch lists. Yesterday I created a new custom list in both accounts that is a back up of my watch lists. Sure enough today, there was 7 items removed from one watch list and 5 removed from the other watch list but all items were still in the back up custom lists I created.  Is anyone else having this problem too?

Are you still out there? I noticed - TODAY - that in both my account and the account I maintain for my spouse that all those things that got magically dropped are magically reappearing. And not all at once, either. Like a few at a time. I had a watch list that had ONE thing on it become 42 items, then 60, and now 67. Arbitrary items from arbitrary sellers from arbitrary places.

I'd call it a holiday miracle, but it shouldn't have been broken in the first place.

Seemed to be corrected by the end of December - Now **It's Happening Again!**

Starting around February 5 2022.  I've now lost 10 items which were not aged off.  

I thought at first that there were a few listings that were removed by Ebay for policy, etc.,  but now today it's FIVE items in one day.  We never got an explanation from ebay about this.

This is happening to me as well. Added 6 items to my watchlist, they disappeared. Found them in recently viewed items re added them to watch list, confirmed they were there. 24 hours later 5 of 6 were gone. Re added to watchlist a 3rd time. Items disappeared again. 
I think it is ebay shadow banning the seller, not the buyer. Basically if you don’t have an upgraded account people cannot watch you items 

The item that remained on my watch list was from a seller w hundreds of thousands of sales

Strangely enough,  over two years later, this is still happening… And I have had active listings show up in the ended section As well.
