For a couple of years now, when I have returned items which is rare, it almost never shows the correct reason that I had selected when I started the return. For example, on this one, I simply selected “didn’t like it” but the reason that shows up on the packing slip is “ordered wrong item”
I think this has happened on other reasons such as “item is defective” or whatever as well. I don’t know what shows up on the seller’s side of things.

Ordered wrong item, didn't like it, changed my mind, found cheaper elsewhere, ordered by mistake are all remorse reasons. It makes no difference one way or the other the end result is the same. You pay return shipping you get a refund.
There is currently no such return reason as "item is effective".

That wasn’t my question but thanks for playing

Sorry, I didn't see a question in your post.
What does the return say on eBay? Not the packing slip.
What ever the return says on eBay that is what you selected.

Again, that’s not my question. My question is why does it show something different on the packing slip? You’re absolutely correct. It does show the correct reason on my return within the return summary but the packing slip does not pick up the reason that I selected and this has been a problem for a long time.
I’m not sure how I could’ve made it clearer. It seems like you’re trying to deliberately misunderstand.
Also, It’s hard for me to judge what shows up on the seller side if I’m not sure that it is transferring the data fields correctly.

What shows on the sellers end should be what you see on yours.
