Purchased something on June 20th from a seller on Ebay. Item has still not been delivered as of July 17th.
I started tracking my package when the shipping label was made. This was a FedEx label and tracking number in Carson, California. Waited over a week and no delivery. Contacted the seller and they said the package was with the shipper. Checked the FedEx tracking number again and package delivery date was now pending in Carson, California. So I contacted the seller again to cancel order.
The seller asked me not to cancel and to wait a little longer. So I did wait. Another week went by and still no delivery. Checked the FedEx tracking number again. Shipment was still pending in Carson, California.
Now, to my surprise there was a UPS tracking number for the same package. Also from Carson, California. How can this package now be shipping through FedEx and UPS?
On July 4th to my surprise I received an alert, from UPS on my cell phone through Ebay, that the package with the "UPS tracking number" had been delivered on June 24th, and that driver noted that he "met customer". That was supposed to be me. But "he did not meet me" and "the package was not delivered". How was this possible? It's July 4th? I was home on June 24th. That's 3 days of shipping from California to Colorado? Went to my local UPS store. They were confused as well. So they gave me a card with the local UPS hub phone number.
Again checked the FedEx tracking number for the same package. According to my FedEx app, delivery was still "pending". But it was delivered by UPS?
So I tried to contact the seller on July 9th with my confusion. Wanted them to explain what was going on. How was my package being shipped with FedEx and now "supposedly" delivered by UPS on the 24th of June. I gave them both tracking numbers. And I received no response again!!
So I contacted the UPS hub and spoke with customer service. Gave them the tracking number of my package. And that it was supposedly delivered to me on the 24th of June. Surprise!! It was not delivered to me. It was delivered to different address. But it "was" the same tracking number. How can that be? And that the delivered package was "not" from the seller. They apologized for the confusion.
Where is my package? 🤔
So I checked my FedEx app. My package is still pending in California. What is going on? Tried again to contact the seller again. No response!! So I contacted FedEx customer service. Gave them the tracking number. I was told that label had been made but they did not have the package. They said that it had to still be with the seller. So I tried again to contact them about this. Again...NO response!!
As of today, July 17th I have given up any hope that I'll ever get my purchase. Very disappointing. I would not recommend ever buying from this seller because of my lack of help from them. They got paid for my purchase. I consider that stealing money. And also as of today there is no delivery from FedEx scheduled. My FedEx app says "Not Available".
Has anyone else had an experience like this? "One" package being delivered from both UPS and Fedex? Same tracking number from UPS going to two different addresses? Seller and Ebay not helping? Ebay's website is very confusing too.
