With my Ebay store I'm allotted 250 free auction listings per month and then after that it costs $0.25 per listing. If the item sells the $0.25 has always been credited back to my account.
Last week I listed 260 auctions at $0.25 apiece and 75% of them sold...I haven't received a single credit for any of them. Did Ebay take away the auction fee credit or is this a technical issue that is being worked on at the moment?

I talked to customer support through Facebook and gave them a list of the item numbers. They said it would take approximately a week before I receive the insertion fee credits.

Any resolution yet with your account?

No resolution yet on my end. eBay support contacted me back and acted like they did not know what I was talking about regarding auction insertion fee credits. I provided them with a link to their own website showing the criteria for auction insertion fee credits and that my items met the criteria. They then said they do not see where I am due any credits. I showed them I paid over $900 in auction insertion fees for the month of September and did not receive one credit. I then provided them with a list of hundreds of order numbers where I was charged a fee and the item sold but I was not given the credit back. I have yet to hear back from them after the order numbers were provided.

6 days later...still no insertion fee credits. Lesson learned. I won't be paying for auctions anymore once my allotment for the month is used up. I've been selling on Ebay since 2001 and this has been the worst year yet for Ebay problems. It's just been one stressful ordeal after another and it makes me wonder why I am still here...

I have been selling on eBay for 27 years using the same strategy of "sell similar". However, over the past 10 days I've been told by eBay that when you are over your allotted amount (in my case 250 auctions style) and you list as a "sell similar" item that ultimately sells you are NOT entitled to the insertion fee credit. Like many of us I list most of my items as "sell similar". If I have a Native American Turquoise bracelet that sells and I come across a similar one with a red coral stone, different size and weight I always use the "sell similar" option but when the bracelet sells now I will not receive my insertion credit. Ebay needs to change their information page because it clearly states the following...
"Every month, you get up to 250 zero insertion fee listings, or more if you have an eBay Store. Learn more about how zero insertion fee listings work, including the terms and exclusions for those listings.
After you've used your zero insertion fee allowance, insertion fees are:
They are simply lying to us!

I always use sell similar for every single item that I list for sale and I've always been credited the insertion fees...all the way up until this month.
I agree with you...they are lying to us to try and get out of crediting our accounts.

Hmmmmm and by the way, eBay told me that nobody else has reported this situation

So...I have an update. I sent Ebay customer support the list of item numbers that were affected on October 4th and today I received a credit for:
1 SINGLE LISTING...so I got credited a total of $0.25 out of the 261 auctions that I had listed...
Sigh...this is just getting stupid.

UPDATE: Some good news. As of this morning, I have been credited for all of the remaining insertion fee credits that Ebay owed me. Check your accounts to see if you have received them too.

I did not receive all of the credits yet but they are slowly rolling in.

I was happy to know that you received your credits. I did not get 1¢.

Try reaching out to customer service by sending a message through their Facebook page. That's who helped me.
