I noticed an area of great confusion that should be easy for eBay to avoid with improved error messaging at checkout.
To Reproduce
1) Use 'Make and Offer' and add a Gift Card as the payment method.
2) While the 'Make an Offer' is still pending, try to use the same gift card as part of a normal eBay Checkout.
Result / Expectations
The checkout page will show "Please check your payment details or use a different payment method." if the previously pending gift card payment method is used.
Once I understand the problem, it made sense, but part of the issue is I had submitted an offer over a day earlier and it wasn't obvious from the error that I was potentially trying to use the same gift card balance toward two transactions.
Suggested Fix
Please improve the checkout logic so it says something like "The gift card method is part of a pending 'Make an Offer' transaction and cannot be used at this time".
