2 Dell Optiplex 980 PCs. One using Windows 10 AND the other Ubuntu 16.04 with Firefox 59.0.2 on both operating systems. BOTH these systems are up to date! I have been using these systems for auctions for the last 6 months without ANY problems. Simply put, ANY jpg or gif fill UNDER 400KB will load correctly using the Ebays "Add Photos" when creating my listing. ANYTHING over 400KB, and this means just 1KB over the 400 mark will come back with and error: ( Invalid photo (CLERR002)The file seems to be corrupted. Please remove it and upload valid JPG, GIF or PNG, TIF or BMP file.
I have taken and exact jpg. image of the same item and experimented with the KB variances. With ebays MB maximums I should not be having this problem. They will not load on either of the operating systems.
One further point I have three systems working off a a Frontier Communications Router. The two I have the problem with and another with a Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7. This Laptop using Ebays Creating Your Listing loads the the larger MB files easily without error!!
