You might post on the technical board so they can see the error message - you recd this thru e-Bay messages correct, not thru your private email tied to your Selling account?  If yes, post there so they can see the error message received.

When posting about an issue like this--which is more than likely on your end, when a message refers to an administrator--it's a good idea to post details like:

 

  • which OS you're using
  • which browser/s you're using
  • which platform you're using
  • what you've done already to try to remedy the problem

I appreciate the message, but like I said, this kind of already got resolved. I think that it had to do with certain characters that were in the message, but I'm not really sure.

I got this message three times in the last month, different browsers, different computers. When I modified the message it went through. When I tried to send the same message again (replying to a different one of the buyer's messages or through the listing), it still didn't go through.

 

I believe this is the new way eBay blocks messages it doesn't like. Two of the messages that got blocked i had made reference to needing payment in US dollars because I have a US dollar bank account, and I think it triggered it to not send. when I removed a lot of the verbage and shortened it to something more simple, the message went through, even though I just backed up, edited, and resent.
