I am not able to purchase anything because the site doesn’t work

Need more information.

Are you getting an error message? What does it say?

Maybe my issue is unrelated, but I have 0 purchase history and no filters, so something is clearly not working right. And my experience with support in the past has been less then helpful.

The default view of Purchase History is the last sixty days, so if you do not have any purchases in that interval, your Purchase History will be empty. You can change that to view the entire current year or each of the previous two calendar years at the top of the "orders" section.

It looks like you have just created your account. Have you linked your PayPal account to your eBay account, and have you set up a valid source for payment such as a credit card or bank?

Thanks, I see that now, this has apparently changed since I was last here, there has always been something visible in the past. I don't understand why Unpaid Items and Unpaid Invoices is listed first, especially since I always pay immediately. I have to go to Purchase History and then scroll down to Orders, that doesn't makes sense to me.
Thanks for the help.

Actually, if the sections are empty then the boxes could be collapsed instead of taking up the whole browser window, all that text will fit on one single line and doesn't need to take up half the window.

I know what happened, now. I installed a new OS and my eBay cookies were gone of course, so it reverted back to default. Still a big waste of space though.

Now that I've bought something I see that Orders show under Watch List in My Ebay, and it wasn't there before but Sell was there even though I don't sell. The issue is expected things disappear and I have to go searching for them.

It sounds like your Summary page is your My eBay landing page. That is not a bad choice for a landing page, but if there is another that you prefer, navigate to that page and click on the little ribbon icon next to your feedback number to make that page your new landing page.

I didn't know that, but I just use history links that pop up in the URL bar.

There's no ribbon icon it's a link on the right, to change the landing page. Doesn't matter really.
