Hi,
Trying to create a normal listing but keep getting this message.....
You currently can list only vehicles in the motors category. Please contact us to complete the upgrade of your account to eBay Payments in order to offer non-vehicle items.
Please can you advise me on how to sort this, trying to get hold of anyone at ebay via phone is impossible.
Thank you

I see that you are registered as a car dealer on the UK site and are asking your question on the US site, so I will provide links to the UK help pages.
To become a seller of normal goods, you will need to sign up for eBay Managed Payments. This will include all of your legal entity information as well as providing a checking for receiving payments and paying fees.
This is a good starting page:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/start-getting-paid-ebay?id=4795
The help page says you can start the process from your selling account page:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/mys/home?CurrentPage=MyeBayAllSelling&source=GBH
If you are using Seller Hub, they look at the Payments tab to start the process.
I have found that starting a listing and attempting to post it will open the "onboarding" process for verifying account information and setting up a bank account. When that was completed, I was then able to resurrect the listing attempt from "drafts". This might not work if you attempt to use the auto parts category, so, if you want to try this method, choose some other category.
