I'm having difficulty using eBay's mail system to send packages from Canada to the USA... I CANNOT get the HS Tariff Code to work for postage labels and if I don't enter the code I can't access a label.. Canada Post is still on strike and I am no longer given the option to purchase labels from them.
Yesterday I spoke with an eBay Escalation Team Rep and he said he was going to look into it. He saw what was happening himself after he tested it using the information I provided. He believed then as I did, that this is a tech problem. This is really creating havoc for me!! I'll have to put my listings on vacation as any attempts to mail any sales outside of Canada is not being allowed. For me to go outside and purchase a label through UPS, Fedex or Purolator is very costly. Mailing one cigarette lighter would cost me in excess of $40CDN through UPS. Using the eBay system it would cost me $14-$16CDN. This is one of my busiest seasons and I'm soooooo disappointed.
I have an E-WATCH number and the Reps name if someone from here can get in touch with me through the eBay messages portal. I'm not comfortable leaving the info here for every one to see.
Thank You.....

Don't post any personal information here, because this is a member-to-member forum which is wide open to the world-wide-web.
However, no one from eBay will contact you from posting here, because this is a member-to-member forum, not a way to contact eBay customer service.
I would recommend that you research third-party shipping services such as Stallion Express, or Chitchats, which may be able to help you keep on shipping during the postal strike.
