eBay is rolling out a new view. So far it's only on Firefox, but I expect it will roll out to other browsers soon.
The shipping tab is being replaced by the see details link next to shipping price and a pop-up appears with the same info the shipping tab used to have.
You should have seen this the first time you clicked on a listing, but it disappears after it shows the first time.

I looked at three of your listings, the shipping tab was visible on all of them.

It must be a phased roll out. Those of us that are seeing the new format are, so far, only seeing it on Firefox and I’m not surprised to hear not all accounts are seeing it because there would be many more posts than this one and the one by Monica-sells on the selling board.

Saw the new popup on Microsoft Edge this morning.....
Buy it Now HAS Handling Time
Auctions do NOT

Thanks for the added info. So you're seeing it in other browsers which supports what I said above about a phased rollout and only some accounts seeing the change at this point.
As for handling time - yeah, that's how it's been since eBay added it back to our listings. Fixed price show it, auctions do not.

Scroll up to 2024. It's on Chrome.
Welcome to the new and exciting changes. Now that our buyers traditionally don't read the entire item description, they are going to look for a little bitty link next to the Shipping. Oh well.

Now I notice today that number of available items is also no longer displayed - just the number sold.
Why does ebay keep hiding useful information? First it was sales history for on the items sold link, then it was usernames in the searches, then shipping tab, now number of items available for sale.

This is all part of Streamlining the Buyer Experience by leaving out those fussy details. 🙄

"We're improving our experience"...by making it harder to find postage details 🙄
Why? just WHY? Time after time Ebay downgrades their website and calls it an improvement???
They don't actually call it an improvement on the UK site. I was going to include a screenshot, but...
"You do not have permission to upload images."

As you will also notice with your second screenshot, there IS NO shipping calculator anymore to check ship costs on multiple quantities. The only way to find out shipping costs when multiples are available is to put more than one in cart and go to cart and look if shipping combined or just added a full ship price per item. If full ship price lists per each item, I REMOVE from cart and keep shopping.

I'm already getting messages from customers asking how much combined shipping is to them and there is no way for me to find out. Horrible waste of time and we are all losing sales. Why not let the customer be able to see shipping cost for multiple units without having to start the checkout process then bail out?
The old way wasn't broken...

Hi kyle@ebay - please see the last 2 posts on this discussion. More sellers and buyers are having problems with the lack of quantity on the new shipping pop up. Appreciate you passing this FB to the proper teams and advocating for change on behalf of sellers/buyers.
Hey @wastingtime101 thanks for checking in. This is something in particular that we have been passing along frequently. We'll be glad to pass these along as well!
