Several days ago I noticed my store listings went from 957 to 0ver 4,700. I soon found out I had been listed on webinterpret without my ever signing up for this international program. I already sell worldwide and I don't need this. Not only did they list all of my store items but they listed each one 2 times. Just today I received an order for an item that had already been sold. I cancelled the order and refunded the buyer. This ebay nonsense has got to STOP! After contacting ebay and webinterpret they admitted they made an error. I filled out the information to discontinue this program. Now I sit and wait for them to follow through and remove the listings. Is anyone else having problems with WEBINTERPRET?

@vintage-camerastuff I was "adventurous" and thought I gave it a try, they didn't sign me up without my permision though.
I didn't like because it was too hard to tell how many unique listings I had and if like you any had been duplicated when viewing my active listings page.
You need to go to the webinterpert site and tell them to STOP the trial. I had to message them a few times but they did finally turn off the link. They at first tried to convince me what a great thing it was which I found annoying since I told them why I didn't want to continue it.
Go to this page then at the bottom click on contact. Next click on the eBay icon. You may need to create a password for the help dept, I did. Then you message them, they then get back to you in about 24 hours. Make it clear that you did not sign up and do not wish to continue the trial.

Good luck!

Have your duplicate listings been removed? Hopefully you don't have upset buyers...

Yes appears many sellers
See post # 217 from Alan at ebay in post link below from the selling board
Many say to revoke a token. Appears many clicked a link but got opted in without knowing it.
I didn't read the entire post it is 12 pages
also check your site preferences and make sure they are not in your Third Party Authorization, If so Revoke them ASAP.

I am a Top rated seller. When I was offered webinterpret, I denied acceptance; I already have items listed on European sites in their respective languages. So far today, my store has increased by 8000+ items, all attributed to webinterpret.
Ich verstehe Deutsch / I understand German and can communicate in it. The webinterpret translation is terrible. One of my categories is 35mm movie trailers and this organization has used the word "Anhänger" for trailer. In German, this word is either a trailer pulled by a vehicle, a supporter or follower, or a pendant. This organization has taken my correct German in my listings and butchered it.
Sadly, eBay staff does not have a protocol [yet] for what to do. I have been told to contact webinterpret and ask them to remove the listings. I can also go to each site and remove them. If you need the webinterpret contact info, contact an eBay rep. I can not list an email addy here.
Good luck / bonne chance / viel Glück

@pict_res Are you saying that you are having a current issue with web interpert?
It took me about 48 hours of back and forth emailing them to get them to remove my extra listings.
Also in your account settings be sure to revoke the third party permission.
Ebay also should not charge you for this "trial" for the extra listings that you did not agree to.

Webinterpret got me too, when I clicked on ebay Seller Hub's innocent looking "learn more" link about getting more international ebay sales. And even though I did contact Webinterpret AND removed their permissions from my ebay account preferences, they keep putting themselves back IN my ebay permissions list without my consent, openly defying my request to cancel my unwanted webinterpret account that I never signed up for.
Ebay sellers had huge problems with this back in May 2018, and I got stuck with this trap 2 days ago (9/7/2018) when I clicked on the "learn more" link that ebay put on my Seller Hub page, so ebay is fully aware what Webinterpret is doing. This is an absolutely nightmare.
