Good Feedback rejected: “transaction not completed” ??

I went to leave positive feedback for an item I received a few days ago.
I started by clicking on the Leave Feedback button next to the item.
When I was finished writing, I clicked on the Submit Feedback button at the bottom, and a sentence next appeared in a nasty red box, saying that I couldn’t leave feedback, because the transaction hadn’t been completed. Huh? Obviously, eBay knew the item had been received or else the Leave Feedback button wouldn’t have been there to begin with!
(Thinking back, when the item arrived on Monday, eBay did NOT send the usual email announcing its arrival. Is this the hang-up?)
I backtracked to the item in my Purchase History right away to try again, but the Leave Feedback button is replaced by a View Similar Items button. I just now checked a second time, and this button is still there.
I can’t leave nice feedback for these good folks. Nor can I contact eBay about this because the sub-choices are too limited. I need a sub-choice of “Other”!
Can someone fix this? These people really want good feedback, and I want to supply it!

I would give it some time. You have 60 days from purchase to leave feedback.
Never heard of this before.
I have had buyers leave feedback before I even shipped.
eBay noting arrival should not be a factor.
ETA. thanks for being a buyer that leaves feedback 🙂
