GoDaddy bookkeeping - Not importing Pay Pal merchant

I purchased go daddy and imported my eBay and pay pal. I am running into an issue and hoping for some help here.

All pay pal transactions imported fine from January 1st until July 31st, listing the merchant and the total. However since August 1st, all my pay pal transactions are showing up with no merchant. It just lists everything as "Payment". So it's making doing taxes next to impossible when it comes to putting anything in correct category. Online go daddy support told me this is a known issue and is pay pals issue, not theirs.

I feel something isn't right because if this were a issue that was known, I would have been able to find other people posting about this and can find nothing in doing Google searches.

are you on ebay managed payments?

also this roughly corresponded with the time the new sales tax laws went into effect- could that have something to do with it?

GoDaddy bookkeeping - Not importing Pay Pal merchant

I am running into something similar. For the past month GoDaddy lumps my sale price, shipping, and taxes all together. For example, if I sell something for $100, charge $10 for shipping, and there is $10 in tax, GoDaddy brings that all in as a sale of $120 instead of breaking it out into the categories it should. Which, we need when we do taxes.

Their response was the same. It is a PayPal issue and we can't do anything about it. So, what am I paying for then? Would not give me a credit for the past month or a timeline of when it will be fixed.  Time to start looking at other software that will actually do accurate bookkeeping. This is a joke.
