Gallery Photos "Not Available" on Item Pages.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Gallery photos show up fine on
the search results page....
But the same photo & any supplementary gallery photos
are not showing up on the actual item page...
The ebay slug "Image not available" below the primary gallery photo
would seem to indicate that this is not a FireFox 63.0 browser fault
but an ebay glitch.
I first noticed this on Sat morning 10.27.18.
In these jpgs I used one of my own listings
so I know that all the gallery images
were successfully uploaded to ebay
from an HTTPS source via the SYI form
and were available on the item page before Saturday.
I have always embed photos from my host
in the body of my ads so my items are
properly documented IF the buyer scrolls down.
Too many sellers seem to rely on the gallery image(s)
as their only photos, so this must be a disaster
for them if the glitch is indeed universal.

It shows up just fine for me in Firefox 3.6.24, 31, 52, Opera 11.61, and IE8
Either it was a transient glitch that resolved itself between the time of your post 16 hours ago and now, or it is your browser.
If I see the main gallery photo, thumbnails, and other gallery images in the listing then they are not missing.
The self-hosted images in the body are missing.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/382599085685
( since the listing ended, this URL is easier https://www.ebay.com/itm/382599085685?nordt=true&orig_cvip=true )
If you still can't see the gallery image in that listing, try another browser and see if that changes anything.

Berserker...
I think your suggestion of a glitch may be correct.
I tried things on Safari this morning and everything loaded correctly.
As of noon on Mon 1.29.18 on FF 63 the gallery images in the body of the ads are appearing on a hit or miss basis.
It's mainly miss but with any luck this percentage will improve.
I still prefer FF over Safari for browsing eBay categories and running ebay searches and so will stick with it.
(Un)fortunately there are fewer and fewer items on eBay that pique my curiosity.
So for those few that do (and if the photos don't load)
I just copy & paste the item URL from eBay into Safari and have a peek.
Inelegant but effective.
FYI
the disappearance of self-hosted photos from the body of my closed ads is deliberate, I delete them from the server as soon as the sale ends.
Anyway, thanks for your help.
