While the fact that many GTC listings are losing their pictures when they automatically relist that is the least of your worries or problems. For some time the GTC listings have not been added to the top of searches when sorted by newly listed. When you list them for the 1st time they run as normal for the last 30 days. Then after they relist they appear in your sellers view as if they have appeared at the top of the list when search by newly listed. However in category searches and your stores inventory they are being buried bellow the items listed in the last 30 days, As time goes on they go further and further down. While in your ebay store this is not too much of a problem as long as buyers want to look through all of your items. However in a category search as only 10,000 listings can be displayed over time your items will no longer be able to be seen by buyers unless they do a specific word or name search for your item. The longer your item does not sell and is in a GTC format now means it is unlikely to be found and seen buy new buyers other than those who selected to watch it in the first month or 2. All seller should be changing their listings from GTC to 30 days and manually relist each item to ensure proper visibility of their items. To do this you can not edit the listings individually as the listing duration is greyed out. The bulk editing tool is supposed to change the duration from GTC to 30 days but does not. You have to select the listings you want to change like you are going to use the bulk editing tool then select end. I have been doing this is groups of 30 to 60 at a time. Then go to your unsold items and relist each listing individualy. Be sure to change the listings duration from GTC and check the shipping options to make sure nothing has changed. Once listed as a 30 day listing your items will have better visibility but going forward you will need to watch your unfold folder on a daily basis to relist the items as they end.
