[GLITCH?] Incorrect "SHIPPING OVERDUE" Seller Performance Service Metric Calculation

I've been hit by what appears to be a glitch with how eBay is capturing "Shipping Overdue" for certain orders.

 

I suspect the following may be contributing factors (just my speculation based on when I've had this happen, including this morning):

 

  • Same-Day Shipping Cuttoff
  • Other than BIN listing (auction and BO in today's 2 items)
  • Perhaps time-zone and/or Daylight savings calculation for same-day cutoffs?

In January I also had this happen, but dismissed it as a one-time glitch. Unfortunately January's false defect stuck with me as a service metric hit, so when this happened again this morning I dug into it a bit deeper in case anyone else had this happen.

 

I have 2 shipments with red highlighted "Shipping overdue" in my "Awaiting Shipment" Seller Hub queue this morning.

 

Neither of these is actually a late shipment:

Keeping in mind my same-day shipping cutoff is 10AM local (Eastern):

In digging into these I found:

  1. One item was a BO that I accepted yesterday at 12:47 PM.
    Payment came in yesterday at 1:17PM (3 hours and 17 minutes past my cutoff)
  2. The other was an auction that was won Monday at 6:03PM
    Payment was made yesterday at 12:03PM (2 hours and 3 minutes after my cutoff)

Unfortunately digging into these was a time-sink since I couldn't find anything with the precise time-stamp of payment received in eBay's system (I had times via email, but wanted to re-verify).

 

Fortunately I accidentally discovered that the mobile app has the time stamp, although Seller Hub only has the day/date (that I could find anyways - if there's a way to view the precise hour/minute of transactions via Seller Hub interface please let me know, I'm also aware these are obtainable through 3rd party tools).

  1. Please check into this glitch and let me know if you need any additional information
  2. Please let me know if these transactional time stamps are available through the web interface (through Seller Hub preferably), and if they're not please pass on this request to display them like the mobile app does (with the hour/minute)
  3. I'll ping support to request my service metrics be fixed
