Is anyone else having problems with descriptions not showing up when buyers are viewing listings in Firefox?? The other browsers seem to be showing the listing description information correctly, but not in firefox. I've contacted Ebay about this, but so far no results. Maybe if more people contact Ebay, they'll work on the problem. Check out your own listings ---- look at them in IE and then look at them in Firefox ----- no descriptions hurts our sales and confuses the buyers.

Same problem, it's been going on for at least a half year. The odd thing is that you can never tell which listing (description) will not be seen. At least I can't. All I know is that when I see NO description in a listing I go over to Internet Explorer and read it... ..Maybe Ebay considers this a Firefox problem and NOT an Ebay problem??

Try to view your listing while you are signed out. I am having the same issue. I noticed that I can view my description if I'm logged out, but when I sign back in, it disappeared again. So I think this is an eBay technical issue.

Apart from using another browser, it is possible to double-check how well listings are displayed by opening them in a private tab or window.
The likelihood is that this will 'solve' the problem.
This effectively puts the issue down to cookies. Indeed, when we have experienced it, we signed-out and cleared all eBay cookies from the cache.
For a while this might help you get by - but the problem will return. We've noticed that the more tabs we have open, the quicker the problem rears its ugly head.
It's a proper pain and if anybody from eBay is taking notice of this thread then please note: This problem is alive and well. Please get it sorted as it's been way too long and, after all, you do make enough money off us!
For ther record, our platform is:
Firefox 54.0.1 (64-bit)
Win 10 (and 7)

This has happened to me several times in the past and is currently affecting one of my listings. I use Firefox for many reasons, some of which include the add-ons and extentions. The first time I saw a listing with just a big, long, so empty, so blank page where the description should be, I assumed it was my personal Firefox configuation. I checked the listing using Chrome and found it displayed just fine.
The problem returned; I believe I got lucky with the items selling from views in other browsers.
Now the problem is back and I am really upset about it.
I have checked my listing in Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, the Android eBay mobile app and all of my mobile phone's browsers. Only Firefox gives me a blank description.
I can sign out, clear my cookies and cache to try to "fix" this, BUT customers are not at all likely to go through those steps. They'll see a blank listing and decide to move on.
My listing keeps coming up as "underperforming" in Seller Hub. I've done everything I can think of to tweak the item's listing. Indeed this is a listing for blush of a certain color - I have a nearly identical listing for a different color that is doing far better, which leads me to conclude it's because people can't see the description in Firefox for one but can for the other.

This is a more recent problem with Firefox view of ebay items for sale. I go back to using internet explorer. Why are Ebay and Firefox ignoring a response- working or not, interested or not, don't care?
