Filtering for "Sold Items" shows no sales

Is this happening for anyone else?

If I search for an item (DD1649-001 for example), it brings up all the active listings. Then if i hit "Sold Items" and try to filter it to show me all the sales, it says 0 items have sold. This is completely wrong because it then shows them in the "results matching fewer words" section but i cant filter them by date sold or anything else.

This needs to be fixed. Does anyone know if ebay is aware of this?

YES! i came here looking for answers for this exact issue. I've tried both on desktop and mobile as well. Neither turn up any results and this only started in the last few days for me.

I will add that on both mobile and desktop:  1) the number of "Completed items" is displayed inconsistently (inconsistent time periods), and,  2) is not always a complete list.  I'm referring ONLY to the "Completed items" filter, NOT the "Sold items" filter.

For example, for some sellers, the "Completed items" list goes back 3 months, while for others (who I *know* had listings during the same time period), the filter only shows the last 1 month.

I tested it a bit, and it seems to vary by seller and how many items they've listed or sold (regardless of "Sold" vs "Completed", and regardless of Auction or BuyItNow).

And within the "Completed items" list that *is* displayed, for some sellers, there are missing completed and/or sold items that I know had been listed and completed during that time period (eg., items in my watch lists, and items where I was the buyer).  Some results show only sold items, and no unsold items.

Will be following this for updates.

I replied in a different thread but will reply here too. I also sell shoes and am having the exact same issue. It started within the last couple of days. Also, traffic to some of my items appears to have slowed significantly around the same time♂️

I am having the same issue, except both Sold and For Sale trading cards are not showing up as a "Match" in the search results, but the searched for items show up below as "Results matching fewer words" even though they actually match all of the search terms.

VERY FRUSTRATING!

Seeing the same problem here since Thursday (day 3 of this issue). How do we get this addressed? I rely on sold listings to gauge what I should sell items for.

Thx

This is happening to me too! I called eBay to ask what it was and the customer service rep said it could be a possible bug and they are filing a ticket to have it fixed. Hope it gets fixed soon. Perhaps if more of us call about this issue they will address it faster.

Same issue here. If anyone has a potential fix, please follow up.

Sold listings don't show up, and an error message stating "Results matching fewer words" pops up every time you try to check for sold listings.

It happens in incognito mode as well, so not an issue with cookies. It must be an internal ebay issue.

Yes. I've noticed it the last few days and it's absolutely infuriating. Compounding on that fury is the fact that ebay hasn't put out any notice or even acknowledged the issue. This is a debilitating issue for many many members, some of whom PAY a monthly fee to ebay, this is shameful. I really like ebay and I'm sincerely hoping for a quick solution but I'm not holding my breath.

Here we are, still no word from eBay even acknowledging it.

**bleep** is going on? This is a FUNDAMENTAL feature of eBay

Why hasn't any eBay reps addressed or acknowledged this yet?

It's a crucial, core function of ANY marketplace

This is a MAJOR problem right now. I can't price anything on ebay and it's interfering with my ability to buy and list effectively. I have no clue what unfamiliar products buy and sell for and without that knowledge I'm not willing to risk my money on unfamiliar purchases at this time.

Address this quickly!!!

I'm also having the same issue. I'm assuming this is affecting everyone. I can't pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. Sometimes typing your search a little differently gets some of the sold listings to show up, but that doesn't always work. I also noticed that sometimes sorting by lowest price gets them to pop up, but that's basically as useful as them showing up in related searches.

It's definitely a major issue right now. It can be very difficult to see whether something will be a good buy to resell or where to set your price in the market.
