Fatal problem with Business Policies

A few days ago this started appearing when I listed an item in my store as Fixed Price or Auction format.   Now I cannot list, revise, or send offers without encountering this notice.  Worse yet, attempting to create a listing is now always unable to continue past this notice.

From Account Settings I tried to edit Business Policies only to get the same message!

I am tempted to "opt out now," but not knowing the results of doing that I am concerned that several hundred auctions will become inaccessible to buyers.  Some are already reporting they cannot check out.

Anyone know a solution?

Thanks for assisting

Re: Fatal problem with Business Policies

Rather than begin another post, I am "replying" to myself with new info.

Instead of clicking on "Send Offers" after selecting eligible items, I selected "Actions" > "Send Offers."  Results:  All offers were sent!  BUT the listing problem cited earlier remain.  It appears that my send offers problem stems from an eBay programming issue.  I have shut down my computer, restarted, refreshed my browser, etc.

Brainstorm...After uninstalling then reinstalling the browser, I can list successfully again!

Re: Fatal problem with Business Policies

Well, the problem returned after listing a half dozen items.  It's also affecting two browsers now: Safari & Firefox.  Both browsers are up-to-date. G-r-r-r-r-r. I've been losing some sales for days now.  The system sometimes also says at checkout I'm not accepting credit cards!?!  My accounts with eBay & PayPal are current as are my service metrics.  S-o-0-o-o messed up, eBay.  Seems like every year's major selling season is littered with software glitches.  I quit selling on eBay for 20 years (really!) when they took me for 100s of $$ in fees despite l-o-n-g stretches of site turbulence that killed sales.  I only returned to selling a little over year ago.  Maybe the time to quit again is already almost here for me.

Re: Fatal problem with Business Policies

Oh, yes, eBay's "create a listing" page actually POSTED my last listing when that bright red box should not have allowed  the ad to go through.  What a mess!  Personally, I suspect that in addition to programming, they're experiencing overload because so many people are home all day these days.  All too often we're getting the notice "It's not you...It's Us...Our server is down...we're working on it"
