False Bid cancellation notice

The last 2 days I've noticed when an auction ends with no bids and Ebay relists it, if I go in right away and end the relisted auction, I get a bid cancellation notice.  I am by no means bidding on my own items and there are no bids on the relisted item when I end the auction.  Previously I have done this and the auction ended and I did not get a bid cancellation notice.  Only the last few days.  Any advice or knowledge of this glitch?

same thing just corred to me years later 2024, and now it’s saying i’m suspended but won’t disclose the exact reason why i’m banned even after calling them
