Extreme lag when typing listings, no where else

All day today, this morning and now.

Having extreme lag when typing listings on ebay.  Doesn't happen on this message board, search queries, etc.., just the listing page.

Using Firefox, emptied cached, closed bowser, restarted computer, shut off computer, tried Chrome browser.  Nothing helped.  Windows 10.  Everything updated.

C'mon ebay tech people, there's something going on in the backgound on the listing page.

Add the Edge browser to my attempts, did not help

Any difference if you use a private or incognito browser window? Or if you disable add-ons?

I hope you havent tried the mobile version, that one is worse (speed wise). That being said, maybe its faster to load listings thru Bulk Upload?

Day 2 - not fixed.  I think it's something ebay has going on in the background code.

Incognito doesn't help

disabling add-ons didn't help

Another computer does the same

Another user id has same problem'

I appreciate the answers however perhaps you could try to draft a listing and see what happens when you try to type the title or description.   Do you have the same problem?

When it happens to me...I check other sites like Yahoo news or something to see if other sites are slow.

It's usually everyone on the internet and it is just slow at the moment.

I turn off my computer after erasing history and then turn it on and that helps.

I live in a building...interesting...those at the bottom near the cable get quicker internet vs. me at the top of the building...I have a top apartment.

And once again this is just on the listing page using sell similar or a draft.  It's not doing this on any other page or website.  On  this community page I can type fine.  I don't have to wait for it catch up to what I am typing.

thanks for the reply, however it's just the listing page.  That is the only area this is happening.  This page types great, no lag.  I can go to other web sites and no problem.  I'm hardwired to the router, about 2 feet away , and also unplugged the connection and went to wifi. 

This just started yesterday.  I've been listing about everyday for 3 years

Day 3 with same problem.  Maybe the ebay tech guys will show up Tuesday and this problem will go away (Monday is a holiday).

summation of attempted fixes:

Tried different browsers, Firefox, Edge, Chrome

deleted cache

Tried incognito/private modes

turned off add ons (and restarted)

turned off pop-up blocker (and restarted)

Restart computer

Turn off computer and back on

Try another user id

Try another computer

changed hardwired to router to WiFi 

And it's just the listing page with the lag in typing. That is the only area this is happening. This community board page types great and fast, no lag. I can go to other web sites and no problem.

Day 4 and I've pinpointed the problem down to two areas
although one has been fixed slightly (that was nice).

Please remember this is on the listing page only.

Now the big lag is only in the "Item Title" area and it's a very big lag.
And is only slightly slow in the "Description" box

It's not my computer, my browser, etc... being the problem.
The problem only exists on ebay's listing page and two sections of that.

On this community page there is no lag in typing and the letters/words showing up nor on any other page I have tried on the internet.
