New message system is falling apart already

I have been working processing orders and trying to answer messages, and when trying to place them in the proper folders for storage you keep sending a red pop up window with the "we are sorry" blahblahblah and then you have no idea where it went....when will you learn to leave things that are not broke alone! GO FIX THE THINGS THAT ARE BROKE....EVERYTHING YOU DO CAUSES MORE PROBLEMS! getting real tired of battling ebay and then trying to explain it to customers....

ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT THE NEW SYSTEM IS GREAT COMPARED TO OLD HAS NOT BEEN HERE LONG - I DID NOT COME HERE TO RELEARN AND RELEARN. LEAVE IT ALONE AND STOP YOUR WOKE BROKE IT OOPS - GO GET A REAL JOB AND LEAVE EBAY ALONE

Yes, this is where leaving their programming troubleshooting to us Sellers is a real fail.  It does NOT "enhance the buying experience" quoting an eBay credo.   It makes Sellers look stupid when they had nothing to do with the change and then have to try and explain things to their customers ... 

There are many threads now on the new message flow with various issues.

Is it just me or has ebay changed the message system as I can no longer contact buyers regarding items being shipped and give updates to buyers as needed??????? WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? I also do not receive any messages even from ebay.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem, when I send a message to buyers as to when their item will be shipped, I don't think they are getting it,. I no longer get any responses to those messages. I also noticed that any of my sent meassages are not showing up in the "sent" folder, instead they're showing up in the "from members" folder. 

Have you had any success in getting this issued corrected?

eBay has changed the way the Sent folder works, so not all messages may appear there even if sent.

 

Just because you are not receiving responses does not mean that users are not getting those messages.

 

If you have your messages sent to your email address using your Communication Preferences, you may be able to read and respond to your messages via email. Try responding directly to the email rather than using the blue "reply" button which opens the message in the eBay Message page.

thanks for the quick response,

I know it's not uncommon to not get a response from a buyer when I send them a message regarding when I will be shipping their purchase, but I typically do get a return message/response from a number of them stating thanks or similar response. and I always get a response from a buyer that included a message in the purchase/details, "please ship asap, package well, it's a gift".  In the last 20 plus messages I have sent recently, including messages left in buyer details (which I always get a response to) I have not recieved a single response/return message. this has never happened before. and not a single message I sent regarding shipment showed up in the "sent" folder. this has never happened before. I suspect the messaging system was not working properly after the "upgrade" and decided to sent my buyers a second message regarding shipment and asked them to respond to verify they got my message. zero response to my messages, including the person that included "please ship asap, package well, this is a gift". those buyers always repond to my message, nothing though this time, which has never happened before. something is wrong with the upgrade, noticed other sellers having the same or other issues since the upgrade.

Perhaps those buyers have received your messages but are unable to reply.

too many of those for no reply, I understand many one of them or so having a problem responding.

tried contacting support but that was futile.

with your permission I would like to try and send you a message thru your "contact member" in memeber quick links to see if my sent messages are actually working/being sent?

your first response to my message is no longer in my inbox, gone???

My second message to you has also disappeared??? not in my sent folder or inbox??

I don't know what to do??
