Ebay . ch is in German. How do I switch to French?
French is a national language in Switzerland in case you didn't know.

Most eBay websites are only available in one language, and eBay Switzerland is one of them. I can't find the page now, but at one point when I was investigating this for someone else, I believe that I found a page where eBay Switzerland recommended that you use eBay France (www.ebay.fr) if you wanted to use French.
Here is a link to Help & Contact on eBay Switzerland:

You can also ask about this in the Community forum on eBay France:

Going to ebay.fr or ebay.com. Works to browse around, but you get redirected to ebay.ch as soon as you login.
Also all the important information I get by email is in German and I can't be bothered translating it, that should be their job. Even a 10 years old can make a multilingual website, shouldn't be too hard.

How are you signing in to those sites? Are you using a bookmark?
Try signing in using these links instead:
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
https://signin.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
As long as you sign in and only follow links found on those sites, you should remain on whichever site you are currently on -- unless you follow the links on the bottom of the main eBay page with the flags that link to other country sites.
If you are using your browser's autocomplete feature to suggest web addresses, take care that you are not being redirected to ebay.ch that way. To avoid that, use another browser with no history of ebay.ch use, or else delete your cookies and history in that browser. And avoid using bookmarks that would send you back to ebay.ch.

My e-mail has a built in translator. Poke around to see if you have access to something similar.

Ebay Canada and Ebay Belgium have multilingual websites with a language selector at the top

Hello, I live in Switzerland, I do not speak German, nor English, only French. I registered with Ebay around 1998, when the Swiss site did not yet exist. Today he has a Swiss Ebay site but only in German ;-( The French customer service refuses to support us, so we find ourselves stuck, blocked. It would be more than good to create an Ebay.ch site also in English , we represent +/- 40% of the Swiss population!!! Your services ask me to validate my account by providing my driving license which I have already done 3 times but each time I am refused this validation!?!? ! It's sickening, especially since no one from Ebay explains anything to us, or helps us?!? Besides, my first and last name, my postal address, my telephone numbers have already been validated by your services in the past, this situation is just ridiculous and harms me just like your other Swiss clients... Best regards (translation by Google translate).

This is more than annoying I don't speak german. I live in the french speaking region of switzerland, where german is not the official language. I should have the right to have acces to ebay in English or French. I should be able to decide the language of communication of all the emails I receive. This is lunacy
