Ebay site down

My Ebay account has been unuseable for 5 days now , can't do anything on the site as everything is not working, no Purchase History page just a blank page, no pictures working on selling page anything under the Leave feedback logo on selling page don't work , can't bid on anything or do postal labels or mark items as dispatched . It all one big fat mess. I have managed to get hold of a Rep today for the first time in 5 days and he just said they are having Technical issues , don't make me laugh as Ebay have some of the World Brightest Tec People working for them and 5 days and they can't sort this mess out.

Re: Ebay site down

Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker or using a different browser, and see if that allows you to load your Purchase History page and other pages.

I notice you are registered in the UK, but you are currently posting on the US ebay.com discussion boards. Make sure you are signed in to ebay.co.uk to see the items you are selling.

Re: Ebay site down

Same here, can't do anything. Actually the only site that kind of works is the US one, but even then I'm having problems. eBay.de (my regular one) is unusable.

I don't run an adblocker and the problems don't go away if I try another browser.

Re: Ebay site down

Very odd. I just signed in to ebay.de and was able to load my Purchase History page after disabling my ad blockers. Prior to disabling the ad blockers, the page was blank except for the header. This was using Firefox with Enhanced Tracking Protection disabled on ebay.de.

It might be worth trying a browser you do not normally use -- perhaps install a new one -- just in case your current browsers have some setting or add-on or cache or cookie issue that is conflicting with some recent changes on the eBay.de site.

Re: Ebay site down

I just signed up for an Ebay store a week and a half ago and noticed that my Ebay store is down at least a couple hours every day off and on, I got a bills for $40 for signing up with no sales before yesterday which took 3 days to see. Then it said that if I don't pay by today the balance of $8 I will get interest charges of $3.00. So I go to put money on my account and it didn't allow me to do it ... then it said that I will get extra charges if I continue. Every time i go to look for a number to call for my Ebay store it tells me error. Every time I go to look at anything on the help posts I get error messages every wheres. Just about everything on the site seems to be having issues too since i signed up again.

I was hoping that Ebay was going to help me raise some extra money to help pay my bills this month and over the next couple months .... but at this rate it may end up costing me more then then I make. I am not impressed.

I notice you are registered in Canada, but you are currently posting on the US ebay.com site. You may have better results signing out here and signing in to ebay.ca instead, and using the Contact Us link on the Canadian site.

Re: Ebay site down

Try sending a message or uploading a picture from eBay.de when making a new listing. A lot of key features aren't usable. I can't send messages at all right now and have buyers asking me questions with no way of contacting them, because if you try to message from ebay.com it redirects you to your home site (in my case, ebay.de)

I've tried a lot of localized ebay sites, the ones where the sign in and register button on the top left of the starter page is no longer visible are having these errors.

I do not have a selling account and I do not speak German, so I cannot help you there.

If you can sign in to ebay.com and read your messages there, and then go to your buyers' feedback or profile pages on ebay.com, you may be able to use the "contact" link there to send a message.

I just sent you a message by signing in to ebay.ca and going to your profile page -- if you receive it, you should be able to send messages from another country site without being redirected back to ebay.de.

Re: Ebay site down

With MS edge on my win 10 laptop could not get ebay uk. and .com is working fine for me with this browser. I did try reloading the page a couple of times. With chrome on my win 10 laptop I can get ebay uk. and .com is working fine for me with this browser.

so I would guess it is a browser issue or multiple browser issues. I did not go past the home page so I do not know how the site is functioning past that with chrome but try chrome perhaps it will help.
