Ebay search engine is broken. No results found even though there are listings with exact keywords

If you search for the following keywords the ebay search engine returns 0 items even though there are several listings with those exact same keywords. This is not an isolated problem and is affecting everybody. It does not help our buyers find our items. Ebay does not make money if we do not sell. I've been using ebay for a long time and this is not normal. Why doesn't ebay just pay google to use their search engine? Google returns more relevant results.

Yup, and per the "tech team" when I reported a similar search to the blues recently, it's "working as intended". 

I guess that means the intent is to destroy eBay as a ecommerce site.

Oh, forgot the solution, add -why???? to your search string and it will work.

They are achieving their goal. I know many frustrated buyers that do not like using ebay.

I used your example and got no results with a exact match. I thinned out the wording to ,"MARVEL Figures MGA" and got 23 results. Some times the order of the words effect the results along with too many words.

MARVEL Super Heroes Figures MGA -better!!! still only 4 results so for the best results search using marvel mga.

@3eyedfishcatcher   I think the OP has the same issue that I do, the results for "MARVEL Super Heroes Figures MGA" has exact matches that are NOT found.  I know you can get matches with less or more, but bottom line, the 4 exact matches are NOT being found in the original search.

Shouldn't the same amount of items come up even if you put MARVEL Figures MGA or MARVEL MGA ? From what i recall , ebay search engine would bring up anything within the items tittle or words. Why would one have more than the other ? they both have MGA and Marvel in the tittle. Ebay search engine has become that specif of a search engine?
