Ebay's Ai bot closing help cases instantly, and not helping at all.

So yeah, the Ebay Ai "assistant" isn't helpful, ever. Also the crap where one too many companies  using Ai to   ignore customer issues and laying off people to be replaced by Ai is also very stupid. The CEO of Ebay made a utterly stupid decision of using Ai. The "Ebay Ai assistant" is never helpful. Back then Ebay Customer Service where an actual human working as a customer service worker helped people out, That was when Ebay Customer Service was Actually Helpful. 

Now we have a stupid Ai replacing humans and the way humans used to make money.

It sounds like the issue in the video was ultimately resolved successfully, which is good. It seems to have been more of a VeRO issue rather than a case of a listing violation, which is why reporting the listing was not successful.

AI can be helpful in some situations, but clearly not all.

Folks may be better off asking questions here to get suggestions from experienced users.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
