There is a seller out there that has now twice sold an item with misleading information. The seller states that an item is damaged, but shows a perfect picture. In the description it says new in the box unopened so in theory it it may be slightly damages, maybe just a dent or two in the box. The item inside could be perfect. The next box allows you to view a full description and it simply shows a virtually blank page with one line Heavily Damaged. That's it. Could be nothing but ashes for a fire. Dis he drop it an assumes heavy damage because its theoretically in an unopend box. Maybe he took an ax or sledge hammer to it and its nothing but crushed pieces. If it does have some broken pieces then maybe its worth the price as scrap to fill in on a similar item that perhaps I have broken. Impossible to know and impossible to get my money back if the thing is truly worthless. Someone might not see the uncapitalized word damaged in the title or not be savvy enough to read the full description because the brief description says new in box. New in Box means not damaged so apparently the seller is hoping that he will catch somebody's eye and think they are getting a steal. Ebay might have a lawsuit on their hands in that case.
I reported the item, but there was no way to include this kind of detail so some one at ebay would see that there is an issue here and talk to this seller. My guess is that the has a whole set of these items that were damaged in a fire or flood or some other disaster and is hoping to make a little money of the item because someone is willing to buy it just to see if they get lucky. I just want to help ebay, but there is no way to even report to them that their reporting system is severely lacking.

If you haven't bought the item, I'm not sure what you're complaint is? If people who buy it have a complaint they can get money back an leave proper feedback. Many damaged things are sold on Ebay........with buyers understanding the are damaged.
