Hey everyone! We had an issue arise today and we are quite frustrated to say the least so we wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else has experience this issue or anything similar.
Has anyone had an issue with promoted listings and your posts? We have never had any issues with our postings until we started using and paying for promoted listings. I'm curious to see if this has happened to any other sellers in any capacity, promoted or not.
We listed Transformers Micron Micromasters and paid to have it promoted. A customer purchased it. We went to print the shipping label and noticed the post now says Soundwave. We sold soundwave earlier this year. The sold for price doesn't match the purchase price and neither match the price paid with applicable fees added back in. In addition to all of that...a pair of our VERIFIED sneakers, not has "Transformers" in the title....why would we put "Transformers" randomly in the title for the a post on sneakers... The photos used in the modified post were from months ago when it was actually Soundwave we had for sale. The customer cancelled his order erroneously listed as Soundwave and now we have not so happy customer.
On top of all this...the amount the customer is being refunded is not the amount they actually paid with the applicable fees added back in and the sales tax was not listed in their return summary at all. I'm concerned that will also create backlash for us.
This is quite concerning for not only our shop but all of you other shop owners out there. Beware...I feel like something fishy is going on... Thank you!
