For the last 3 weeks or more Ebay has been logging me out over and over and over . I can't list, I can't buy, I can't even browse or add to my watch list or cart without being logged out.
It does this on all my devices, a laptop and two different Ipads, also the different browsers I have in use.The box is always checked to stay logged in. Cookies were cleared on my laptop. Nothing changed. Changed my password , nothing changed. It is clearly a problem with Ebay itself if it happens on all my seperate devices. It is more than frustrating.
I've seen this issue here before but never have seen any resolution. Has anyone gotten this fixed??

Thank you. Went there and none of those suggestions work either.
Oddly, I do not seem to be getting logged out of this forum.
It's a head scratcher.

If it is happening with multiple computers and browsers, that would seem to rule out most of the usual suspects.
That leaves problems with your network, or problems with your eBay account. Can you try signing in to your account on another network (say, at work) to see if you have the same problem?
Are you able to stay signed in with the app? If so, your account is probably OK.
Do you have another eBay account you could sign in to so you can test things? If not, it might be a good idea to create one. If you are able to sign in to another account and not run into problems, then you just have to figure out what the difference is between the two accounts. Perhaps try a different landing page? If it is a real problem with your account, you will probably have to contact eBay about it.
Another thought -- are you getting the security page where it asks you to type in some obfuscated character string (to prove you are not a robot)? Some folks have said that they ran into a situation where they were constantly getting that security sign-in page. Not sure what the solutions was, but I think for most folks it just went away after a while.
Good luck.

Everything requires sign in once I've hit that page. Before all this I did have to sign in again to sell an item and a few other things but certainly not everywhere.
I want them to trun me back down to about a 4. 🙂

I don't have another net work handy to log into. I'll have to take my ipad when I go to someones house and try thiers.
Meantime, I do have another old account I have not logged into for a long time that I only used to use to purchase. I will see if I can get into that one and if it happens using it.
I have never used the Ebay app since I my laptop for most things on here. Maybe I will try it to see if that helps.
I will contact ebay if nothing helps. I see others have done that with no results...atleat none that they came back to tell about. I promise if I figure this out I will post how it got fixed.
I really apprecaite these ideas and will give the ones I have not tried a go.
Thanks!

I forgot. I do not get the sign in page that makes you prove you are not a robot.

I downloaded the Ebay app on one Ipad and that one now seems to be working ok on Ebay.
Can't log into my other older account. I suspect Ebay deleted it due to lack of use. I may call them tomorrow to see if there is a way for me to access it and also see if they can look into this situation with my login.
I type better on my laptop so want to be able to use it to type.

Updating this since I found this thread again.
Nothing I did resolved the issue. Either Ebay fixed it or it fixed itself. I had this issue for about 4.5 weeks before one day it was just working correctly. HOWEVER for a few days after I was able to stay logged in my account I was not able to stay logged in here on the forums. That resolved itself as well.

Glad to hear things are working right again -- that must have been a long 4 and a half weeks.
No idea what the problem could have been, but it sounds like something on eBay's end. Or at least something they changed to make it work again.
About the forum sign-in -- there are separate "stay signed in" and "Sign me in automatically to Community discussion areas" check boxes in the Account: Site Preferences. If you delete your cookies or run into problems, it is worth checking on those boxes again if you want to stay signed in.
