Store not Searchable

I cannot search within my store for anything or bring up any categories I need to "sell similar". I can scroll through 3000 items but it would be simpler and less time consuming to just do it from scratch. I am just wondering if this is a temporary or ongoing issue or if anyone else is experiencing it.

I am a buyer and was unable to view seller's items beyond the first page.  I could not use the search button or categories on the left side of the page either.

Having the same issue.  The Store Search has been down for over 3 hours now.  Meaning my eBay store is basically useless.  Nobody is going to scroll through 2,000+ items to find something they want.

As a work around if you go in to one of your ebay items, click the "See other items" link; you can search your list of items without any issues.  At least you can find the Sell Similiar item you need.  Which is what I'm doing for now.

My main concern is my customers don't know to do that.

I am having a similar problem. When I click on one of my store categories it takes me to the Ebay homepage instead. Before it does, I see it also attempts to go to a url that starts with "cgi6" (?)

Please let me know if your issue gets fixed.

Im going to try to call support.

I filed a report and they said they'd get back to me withing 72 hours. Seems like a long time!

I agree. 3 Days without a working eBay store . . . they better not charge me my subscription fee for the month.

As per your suggestion in the other thread imapaqrat I called them on the phone as soon as I got some time and she told me that there are numerous complaints and they are aware of it and are working on it as we speak.  Probably a quick call from as many people as it affects would help put it at the top of their "to do" list?...

I forgot...I made a mistake in my initial post....I stated I could search through 3000 items which is wrong if I am using my store...I can only search the first page but no categories and no other pages.  Also...here is the link to another discussion  on the matter....

UPDATE: My store just got "updated" on it's own a few minutes ago. Search Box is gone...you have to use search at top of page. It works again!...just looks different. Also...the Not Secure thing at the top of the page is gone as well after a year or so....

Just pulled up your store and yep, it is the New and Worse eBay Store.

So now the eBay Store is just a landing page.  As soon as anybody does a search, the entire STORE Functionality is gone.

We need to demand 90% of our Store Subscription Fee be reduced as well.

At the moment eBay's Storefronts are either broken or a just shadow of what they used to be!

AND eBay's inventory system has been broken for a over 3 years. I have outline, numerous times how and where the inventory system is broken and it has never been fixed. I have a 20 page word document of all the customer support calls I made on the problem, starting 5/2016. All the problems are still there. Their last excuse, eBay is going to be rolling out a newer inventory tool. 3 Years . . . No New Tool . . . Old Tool still broken.

Last summer eBay admitted to a Photo glitch that lost all the photos on most of my items, plus all the photos on most of my Inventory Items. Last year I spent over 400 man hours trying to recover from eBay's admitted technical issues that caused the photos to be lost.

Broken Storefront . . . Broken Inventory system . . . Lost 1,000s of photos with no recovery plan . . . what exactly am I paying for?

On eBay's Bright Side: They've never had a problem with their invoicing system. That come out like clockwork!

If I sound GRUMPY, it is because I most certainly am.  I'm sure the mortgage company will understand when I explain that 'eBay had technical difficulties!'

As to functionality and price decreases for a store.......we fought all that last summer and got nowhere.  You guys were just lucky you got overlooked for a year, frankly......

Not overlooked . . . I demanded they put me back on the Old Storefront . . . it sort of surprised me that they did.

Still amazed how horrible eBay new tools have been over past 4 or 5 years.

Leaving Feedback worked fine . . . so lets break it!  Now I have to leave feedback 1 at a time instead of the old way where you could leave 20+ feedback and press a button once.  Worked Great, so eBay broke it.

Every change they make seems to be made in the eBay VACUUM, which is why all the new stuff SUCKS!
