As a long time seller and more importantly, as a buyer, this auto pay is an atrocity! I understand it is intended to stop non payers but why experiment with someone who has never NOT paid for an item???
The other day I went to bid on an auction. Of course, auto pay wants me to confirm my payment info, so I do. I choose Paypal and was prompted through a pop up window as to which method to use within Paypal. I chose Paypal Credit. Well, I won the auction and ebay charged my Paypal debit card. What the hell ebay?!!!???
Capitalism wants more for itself at any cost regardless of stature, race, creed, religion or the payment option chosen and time in which one wants to chose to make the payment. Capitalism chooses itself every time.
