Ebay Search "Exclude Words From Your Search" not functioning

In the last week, the "Exclude words from your search" portion of the advanced ebay search is not functioning properly. When you add in a series of words into the "exclude words from your search" field, the ebay search function only recognizes the first word and you receive a null search result. Could someone please fix this?

eBay is aware of the issue.

You can work around the problem by excluding keywords yourself by using a minus sign in front of each keyword you want to exclude and using the standard search field rather than that exclusion field on the Advanced Search page.

This doesn't work at all. Typing -lego finds all the Lego on the planet. Even ones in the bottom of the toybox not even listed on ebay.
