I opted into the new EIS shipping for my international sales and was told several times that it should work on items that qualify up to $2500. It works perfectly on items under $500 but on all items over, it displays this in the shipping info if a non-US address is selected: "Will ship to *insert country here*. Read item description or contact seller for shipping options." It is clearly not working as it should for items between $500-$2500. I have contacted ebay customer service several times, and now, over a month later, I'm still being told this is a "known technical issue" and that they are "working on it" with no idea of when this tech issue will be resolved. All of my items have the exact same shipping policy so it should work the same for all qualifying items under $2500, and I've been assured the issue is not user error but is 100% an ebay back-end issue. Does anyone else have any insight or how to escalate the issue with the technical department directly because I keep getting the run around from customer service which is increasingly frustrating. Thank you!

@wastingtime101 Hi there.
The only issue I have with that is the long block of excluded locations makes me look like I'm totally dissing them. On my unqualified high-priced item, I used the exact same shipping policy used for my other listings (without any exclusions) and ebay self-generated the block of exclusions on my (unqualified) listing.
My other listings with lower than the invisible $500 threshold do not show any exclusions -yet it has the same exact shipping policy. It's a very strange solution decided by ebay, as I cannot go into the listing itself to get rid of the long list of exclusions because well, they actually don't exist. And because I have been messing with this issue for days, I am completely burned out on creating yet another policy just for the Bookends. I don't want to jinx anything. So there's that.
