EBay paypal not working!!

I’ve been trying to make a purchase all evening. It gives me an error saying “one or more sellers can’t take payments. Try again later.”

Having same problem. Several times. Even after system restarts... 

Oddly neither PayPal nor my credit cards are going thru, ebay returns unhelpful error message that does not indicate WHY payments not going thru... 

Chatted with Paypal, said my account was in good standing 

Chatted with my Bank, said my accounts are fine. 

Chatted with eBay, who instructed me to "delink" my payment methods and then relink them... 

Said it was an eBay issue, but did not explain what the issue was. 

This looks like a potentially HUGE problem for eBay. 

7 payment attempts (for an amount around USD $10) were rejected by eBay's payment system which is obviously broken. 

Hope they fix it without requiring millions of users to delink and relink payment methods.

If you are getting that "one or more sellers cannot accept payment" message, that would tend to point to a problem at the seller's end of things.

Is that particular seller new to selling, or registered in another country?

Sometimes changing a particular payment method can help, but if you have tried paying via card or bank account or PayPal balance, then likely the problem is at the seller's end.

If you are running into the same problem with multiple sellers, then the problem might be on your end (or with eBay).
